Inspired by physical and spiritual spaces.

Aoraki. Acrylic on canvas. 18" x 24". This piece was inspired by a spontaneous journey in New Zealand. I hitchhiked with a French woman from Wanaka to Mount Cook (Aoraki), meeting some incredible people along the way. We swam in the glacial lake with ice floating around us, we ate packaged noodles with a Belgian man, we slept cozily hoping that the alpine Kea would not destroy my borrowed tent. We hiked to get a good view of Aoraki - it's glaciers were covered in residue from Australia's bushfires. Climate change felt visceral. We hitchhiked back to Wanaka, not before camping on a beach with a North Island couple who picked us up, and I left my French friend with my beloved copy of Victor Frankl's 'Man's Search for Meaning'.

Gums at Golden Hour. Acrylic on canvas. 24" x 36".

Grand Canyon. Acrylic on canvas. 24" x 24". I am reminded of red dust on my new Goretex boots. I am breaking them in on the South Kaibob trail. I am walking on Mars with my best friend and my soon-to-be lover. Going down is optional, coming up is mandatory.
